Where Love, Passion, and Leather Meet
Our journey began in Hong Kong in 2019, when Frances introduced Edmond to leathercraft. What started as a shared hobby soon grew into a serious idea of starting a business.
Since Long Island Iced Teas were our favorite drink during countless late nights at “Breaks” bar, we named our brand Longisland Leather and officially launched in 2020, symbolizing our love story and shared passion for handmade leather goods.
Our Humble Beginnings
We started in a small shared studio with just two tables in an aging industrial building. After a year of hard work, we moved into our own space and began offering leather craft workshops where our customers could craft personalized leather gifts like custom cardholders and wallets for their loved ones. The joy on their faces as they created something special was our greatest reward.
As our reputation grew, we provided on-site workshops for prestigious brands, companies, social enterprises, and universities.
Our Canadian Chapter
In 2025, we started a new adventure, moving from Hong Kong to the calm beauty of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The change gives us space to reconnect with our roots and find fresh inspiration. Our love for quality craftsmanship hasn’t changed — every piece we make tells a story, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
